Matthew 5:1-12 – “And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. II. The Matter of Purity ₋ The word pure has two basic meanings – Clean and unmixed Acts 15:9 – “Purifying their hearts by faith” John 15:3 – “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” I John 1:7 – “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin”

The Matter of Purity ₋ The word pure has two basic meanings – Clean and unmixed Jeremiah 32:39 – “And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever.” Philippians 2:13 – “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Psalm 51:10 – “Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.”
