16. Late Work Policy
If you fail to turn in an assignment on time, you must get a YELLOW SHEET and turn it in with the reason it is late.
Homework
Projects
10% of the total points on the assignment will be taken away for EACH DAY that the assignment continues to be late.
After 5 days you will automatically get a 70 at the highest grade
This does NOT mean that points will not keep going down if you fail to turn your work in!

17. Every Day Procedures
Be in your assigned seat and working on the assigned Science Starter when the tardy bell rings.
IF YOU ARE NOT IN YOUR SEAT BY THE BELL YOU ARE TARDY.
Bring all materials to class! If you’re not prepare, you aren’t prepared to learn!
Follow directions the FIRST time they are given.
Treat every person in this room with RESPECT and DIGNITY.
Follow ALL procedures in the BHS Code of Conduct.

There will be copies of our assignments in the GREEN BOX up front! Just look for the week that you missed the assignment in!
If it’s not there, ask me for a copy of your work.
If you missed any notes, please get them from a CLASSMATE.
You are responsible for making sure that your notes are complete!
You have two days for every EXCUSED ABSENCE to make up work with no penalty.
Tests/quizzes must be taken UPON YOUR RETURN TO SCHOOL.
Makeup work for unexcused absences is subject to a late fee.
MAKEUP WORK IS NOT THE SAME THING AS LATE WORK!!!

You will have 5 original bathroom passes!
These double as homework passes; AKA you can use a bathroom pass to get full marks on a HW!
Once the 5 are gone, that’s it.
If you do not use the 5 ORIGINAL passes, at the end of the year I will add 10 points to your lowest Test Score!
Chance to win NON-ORIGINAL passes in review games/for good behavior.
Sign out with the bathroom sheet and TAKE A PASS.

25. Dismissal

Do NOT start packing up prior to the bell; the passing period is 6 minutes you will NOT be late.
Do NOT line up at the door.
