Personality traits Empathetic- designers need to understand how their target audiences feel. What makes them tick. What stimulates them Open to change- aside from the fact that designers are awesome at creating something out of nothing, they are just as great in making things that are already there even better. Motivated- without the right motivation, it’s easy for anyone to give up and feel frustrated with negative feedback. Meticulous- other people may see a straight line, but a great designer sees that microscopic curve in the middle. Patient- design work can be slow going—answers don’t often come quickly. It takes patience to let an idea develop, work on communication and try out creative alternatives before getting to the end result. You have to go with the flow. Manage time- time management can become a challenge for many graphic designers who take on multiple projects and fail to deliver on time, leading to a lack in creativity. Communicative- a designer's job is to communicate a client's story, brand and ideas, but you'll also need good communication skills in order to present, charm and negotiate for your work. It’s imperative to maintain professional in tricky situations and to be clear with a client on the brief. Motivated- creative graphic designers are motivated by the task at hand rather than by material rewards. They find motivation in the challenge that a task presents rather than allowing the material benefits to dictate what they do.

Education and training
A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field is usually required. However, individuals with a bachelor's degree in another field may pursue technical training in graphic design to meet most hiring qualifications. Most programs include courses in studio art, principles of design, computerized design, commercial graphics production, printing techniques, and website design. In addition, students should consider courses in writing, marketing, and business, all of which are useful in helping designers work effectively on project teams. High school students interested in graphic design should take basic art and design courses in high school, if the courses are available. Many bachelor's degree programs require students to complete a year of basic art and design courses before being admitted to a formal degree program. The training you need is to be ready to work, being creative, and getting your work done on time.

Conclusion I learned all about graphic designer and what they have to do in their job. I don’t think this is a good career for me because I am not creative and don’t get my work done on time so I would probably disappoint a lot of people. If I has to do this as my work I would be a slack on it because being as a graphic designer you have to do your work, get it done on time, being creative, and hard work put it in. As a graphic designer you can’t fool around and fooling around is the best thing I do. I don’t want to know anything else.
