1. A Grimm Story: Jennifer’s Dream

2. Once upon a time there was a little girl named Jennifer who lived in a small bedroom in her parents house. Jennifer’s parents would not let her outside because she believed that every wish should come true. Because of this Jennifer became a beautiful fairy; she cold make any wish in the world and everyone would one would come true, even if she did not want it to.

3. Jennifer had a wish of her own, and that was to look out a window of the beautiful outdoors. One day Jennifer’s parents left, and her wish became true. All of the blinds in her house opened up and Jennifer gazed out of every single window. Jennifer thought aloud, “I wish I could just take one step outside.” With that being said, the door opened and said, “Come on Jennifer, I know you want to take a walk outside.”

4. Jennifer jumped up, ran through the door, and ran outside
Jennifer jumped up, ran through the door, and ran outside. The door shut and locked itself. Jennifer started to pace back and forth at the fact that her mother and father told her not to go outside; and there she was standing outside. She wished for the door to open and the door exclaimed, “I will not let you back inside until you understand the two terms of fun and freedom.”

5. Walking in the soft green grass, Jennifer thought to herself this should not be hard I just have to think how to make this happen. Jennifer then screamed, “ I know, I know what to do, I wish to have fun and freedom.” Closing her eyes with a smile on her face and re opening her eyes with the same smile she had before she then frowned. II cannot use magic to know the meaning of freedom and fun Jennifer thought, I need to find the meanings myself.

6. Years went by and Jennifer was getting mad at the fact that she could not find the meanings of freedom and fun. She thought to herself, maybe the woods is full of freedom and fun. Running through the colorful leaves that laid scattered on the ground, past the humungous trees, and through the rain and wind; Jennifer felt a feeling she has never felt before. She felt a feeling of happiness and joy. Jennifer kept running and running though life because it was the only feeling of happiness she could find.

7. After a complete year of running through life, Jennifer started to grow tired. She started to remember her bedroom she was trapped in her whole life. Jennifer knew she never wanted to go back to her house because she was having way to much fun. She then thought, I wish I had a few friends to see everyday to show them how much fun I am having. Jest then, a town called Plutonium Ville appeared and Jennifer walked through.

8. Jennifer was timid and scared because since she’s been locked in her room her whole life, she did not know what to expect in Plutonium Ville. Five boys and three girls ran up to Jennifer and they all introduced themselves. The boys were named Adam, Jordan, Mitch, Alex, and Tyler. The girls names were Lindsey, Kimberly, and Autumn. Autumn was curious and asked Jennifer where she was from. Jennifer then started to cry and said, “I have no idea where I am from, how I even appeared here, and why I am here to begin with.”

9. Adam asked,” Jennifer what’s the matter, you know you can talk to us were your new friends.” Jennifer once again felt another feeling she has never felt before. She felt the feeling of happiness and love. Jennifer looked up and said, “ Well to start off, I’m a fairy and I wished that I could take a step outside because my parents would never let me out of my room. My door opened and told me to come outside so I ran out of my door. The door slammed and locked behind me and told me I could not re enter my home until I find the meanings of fun and freedom. I have ben searching for nine years now, and I still cannot find the meanings of freedom and fun.

10. Tyler said, “Come with me and we will all get you cleaned up so we can have some fun.” Jennifer followed Tyler and everybody else into a beautiful house and waited for Jennifer to shower and clean herself up. She came out and everyone started on Jennifer’s new transformation to have fun. When Jennifer’s transformation was completed Jordan exclaimed, “ You now know the meaning of fun and freedom.” Ding, Ding, Ding Jennifer’s alarm clock starts to go off. Jennifer awakens, gets dressed, and walks out of her room with a smile on her face.

11. Her mom screamed, “ Get back to your room, you cannot leave now or ever remember you’re a fairy and you will make a wish for everyone. Jennifer looked at her mother with a smile on her face. Her mother said, “Why are you smiling, I said get back into your room.” Jennifer then said, “Today I am going to look out the windows, going to go outside, run through the woods in the rain, end up in Plutonium Ville, and meet my new friends.” Her mom said, “Get to your room NOW.” Jennifer smiled once again and said, “Mom I need to find the meanings of fun, freedom, happiness, and love.” Jennifer then walked outside to start off her adventure of a dream.

12. I chose to write a story of my own because all the Grimm Fairy tales are gruesome and I wanted children to see this story and know that this story compared to the Grimm Fairy tales was alright to read. I mean there are parts of cruel treatment like the last paragraph, but besides the last paragraph its everyone's dream to find the meaning of freedom and fun. I also wanted to write this story to show that a lot of people like me do not have a lot of freedom and fun in their lives, and to know that the girl Jennifer did nit have a lot of freedom either, she used her dreams. Dreams are always possible if you follow them. That’s why I wrote this to show that all dreams are possible if you follow your heart.
