5. Engage
  Amnesty International is a worldwide human rights organization run by its voluntary members. It is independent of all governments and all financial organisations. It is also independent of political convictions and religious faiths. Amnesty International uncovers the facts about violations and breaches of human rights.
They try to pursue human rights. They are an organisation that raises money to stop abuse from domestic to sexual abuse. They have over 7 million workers all over the world. Everyday Human Rights are regularly abused which is a disaster because some people are suffering for crimes that should not be done. Amnesty international intends to make the world a better place.

Some discussion ideas –
How can you tell in your everyday life, if someone is suffering?
How could you make them feel better?
Discussion techniques - Go back to the Bible passage ask “How does the theme link with the Bible passage?”
Discuss the question in pairs for 30 seconds then invite a response from each pair.
Use quick-fire answers e.g. throw a soft bean bag / toy to a student, when they answer they throw it back and you quickly throw to another student.
Simplify the question - Invite quick one-word answers, write them on the board, then reflect on the answers – see connections.
