1. Skeletons & Histograms using the Microsoft Kinect 2.0
Learning Objectives: Students will determine the shape, center, and spread of different distributions by analyzing histograms.
You will use Kinect Software to take a picture of your skeleton and find your skeletal height and wingspan.
All of the class heights and wingspans will be compiled into a single spreadsheet.
You will generate a statistical analysis heights and wingspans for both men and women in our class.
You will use Octave to create overlapping histograms of the data.
You will be asked to make comparisons based on the histograms and draw conclusions about the heights and wingspan distributions of the class.
