Jose, I distributed the things we accomplished into 4 tasks. The first being the circuit design ( which was used to determine the various parts to use) and the parts purchase which, of course, was based on our design of the circuit. The second task was the first transmitter and receiver prototypes. In this task we assembled our designed circuits on protoboards. The next task was the Final transmitter and receiver prototypes. In this task we fix the errors that appeared at the initial attempts of construction, and tested that the circuits functionality was within our requirements. The final task was the initial microcontroller programming. In this task we run some simple programs on the microcontroller in order to get familiarized with the way the software and development board works.
