1. Examine the perspectives of the birds in this picture. Why do the free birds seem to be looking at the caged bird? How does the caged bird appear to feel? Why? What message do you suppose the artist who created this picture is trying to convey? After you answer these questions, write a poem, story, paragraph about a bird breaking free OR draw a picture that shows what will happen next in this picture.
