Politics, Social Norms, Technology, Economy, etc… (how people pay) UNCERTAINTY. The future is unpredictable and often surprising. In strategies, why things work/fail, what to expect etc… (membership) COMPLEXITY. Forces are multiplex, confusing, with no easy cause-and-effect. Confusing connectivity, too many variables, invisible intersections. (how humans succeed) AMBIGUITY. Challenges are hazy with high potential for misreads. Relevant information is known but outcomes unclear. (what worked is not working)
