Real World Connections – Embedded culture of Field Trips which provide deeper understanding, real world knowledge, and connections from the classroom to our community. Maximize connections with community and each other - Student choice … risk taking decisions School Climate 6th-12th Comprehensive Focus on Prevention Partnership with CHS & Padre Parents Craig School Climate -- Topics from class presentations: Zero Tolerance, suspensions & expulsions, appropriate communication, academic honesty, Mike Smith (opening speaker) connections, bullying, sexual harassment, tardiness, student handbook/code of conduct - Every English classroom/every student in first three weeks of opening school – revisit key topics in January Articulated 6th through 12th sequence … Craig describes – CHKS: Of students using – of total student body 4% CHS use at school -- 39% of juniors reported they used in last 30 days % of reported users in last 30 days used at school and 90% of reported users used away from school Video Aubrey and Lisa Morgan – Purple Project Goal 2: Student Support & Engagement - All students achieve personal wellness through an environment that fosters health and happiness.
