Authority Is the author an authority on the subject?
Does the website have information about the author? Did you find this site from a reputable site?

Bias Try to Persuade Rather Than Inform
What organization is responsible for the site? Is the information an advertisment? Is the information balanced? Does the author favor a side?

Citations Does the author give a bibliography of his/her resources?
This will allow you to know if the author is an authority. This will allow you to consult other sources.

Currency Does the website list the date when it was last updated?
Is the date it was last updated current?

Relevancy Is the information directly related to my topic?
Will the information reinforce my position on the topic?

Appropriateness Is the information appropriate for my audience?
Is the information age-appropriate for my audience? Does the information match the values of my audience? Will the information present the ideas I want to relate to the audience?

Detail Does this site give enough information?
Does this site give in-depth information? Are there examples to help explain ideas?
