3 General Information… Outdoor PE is on Friday with Mr Lund
Indoor PE this term is swimming Swimming is on Tuesdays until Christmas. Autumn and Spring Term- Outdoor PE will be on a Thursday. Trainers to be in school Swimming- Tuesday- remind hats and goggles Summer Term- Outdoor PE Deodorant- no aerosols Water Bottles Coats Helen If a PE kit is forgotten twice in a row then a credit will be taken.

4 Homework… Reading - 30 minutes daily (Diary initialled)
SET ON A THURSDAY – DUE ON FOLLOWING THURSDAY Homework… Reading - 30 minutes daily (Diary initialled) English - A reading task, comprehension activity, writing or grammar task (30 minutes) English - Learn Spellings Maths - Times tables – Let’s win the TT Rockstar’s Trophy! Maths - either online activity via My Maths or a task to be completed in Maths homework books (30 mins) If homework activities are taking longer than 30 minutes then STOP. Make a note on their work saying what they found hard etc. Tim

5 Out of school treat at end of year.
Credits Movie afternoon Wide games Picnic and games Half-termly treat: in / out of school Every child is automatically going on the treat at the beginning of each half term However, children may lose credits for unacceptable behaviour e.g. disrupting learning, unkind behaviour etc. More serious misbehaviour will still mean red book A red book results in a loss of two credits Number of credits resulting in loss of the treat will be 10 Children are warned before they lose credits A meeting may be arranged between the year 5 teachers and your child if they are nearing the limit. You will be informed ahead of your child losing the treat. Out of school treat at end of year. Tim

8 Let’s Make a Difference
We look at homelessness, what does it mean? How does WCHP help? What are the rights of a Child? Move to looking at Asia, brief stop to Bagdad to look at early Islamic Civilisations , then India, Indian dance, food culture etc. Alongside that we start our enterprise project. Children work towards a charity sale for WCHP at the end of the year. Julia Summer Term…
