Know Your Audience Age Gender Number of people Audience Knowledge
Age – Know your outside references (i.e TV shows, music, etc), How your talking to them in general, loudness of voice, clarity, etc. Gender Ratio – ^^^ same Number of People your speaking to – Less people = more personal, call on audience for interaction, etc. Larger group = more general speaking, talking to masses Audience Knowledge – Do your audiences already have a grasp on the subject or are they hearing this for the first time? How much detail should you use?
