and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called
Isaiah 9:6 (NIV) For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah means " God Saves " Was one of many prophets---16 of which are recorded in the Old Testament from Isaiah to Malachi. A prophet was a " forthteller " whose goal was to help us discern the difference between the ways of the world and the plans of God.

The Old Testament Book of Isaiah's message is to reawaken man to virtually everything that is involved in being a God Follower. Isaiah declares that God both can and does use everything and everybody to accomplish His in our lives

God 's desire is to "make lemonade out of lemon"
God can and desires to remake the mess we have made of our lives. The prophet Isaiah presents the message that the perceived wall between the secular and the sacred needs to be torn down.

Absolutely everything takes place on sacred ground
Absolutely everything takes place on sacred ground The way we act in the "privacy" of our homes The way we act in the " privacy " of our hearts The way we make our money -----The way we spend our money

------The politics we embrace The catastrophies we endure The people we hurt The people we help Nothing escapes the scrutiny of God
