4. THIS BOOK BEGINS WITH AN INTRO ABOUT DOCTOR DOOLITTLE AND HIS PETS living in a small town called Puddle Belly-On-The-March

5. The event that leads to the conflict is when he took that trip to the tropical forest of Africa to heal the sick animals and then loses his boat to sail back home.
Trouble mostly begins after that happens.

6. But fortunately finds a boat and all of his troubles were gone, or so he thought. There was trouble on the sea too. But lucky he survives and makes it back home.

7. The main themes in this story are mostly in Africa when he couldn’t find his boat. I liked the fact that that Doctor Dolittle can talk to animals. That’s cool. I disliked when e got trapped in Africa and his troubles began. I highly recommend this book to someone because it’s a great children’s book for everyone to read.
