Line graphs are used to show a relationship between variables.

y-axis (vertical) = dependent variable
x-axis (horizontal) = independent variable
4. Graph each value.
Remember: TITLE, LABELS, UNITS!

5. Circle Graph
Circle graphs, or pie charts, are used to represent percentages of a whole. The entire circle is equal to 100%.

6. Making a Circle Graph Find the total number.
Find the degree or the percent of the circle by dividing each category number by the total number.
Degree: Category #/Total # x 360°
Percent: Category #/Total # x 100%

4. Draw the pieces.
5. Label each piece with a title and number.
