Important News
This Tuesday, there will be a PTO meeting in the library at 6:00. Please feel free to stop by if you would like to get involved!
Math
We will continue our unit on fractions this week, focusing on multiplying fractions and word problems involving fractions. Our summative exam will be next Tuesday, the 5th of February
Language Arts
We will continue with our reading of “Number the Stars.” The students really seem to be enjoying the story! We will read Chapters 3 and 4. We will end the week with a quiz on Chapters 1-4 Friday. We will also continue writing our informational chapter books. Books are DUE Friday, Feb. 1st.
Science
This week, we will spend a lot of time reviewing our lessons over Rocks and Soils. Please help your child prepare for the exam by looking over the study guide with them. The test will be Friday.
Social Studies
We will begin Chapter 4, “Mississippi Becomes a State,” focusing on facts vs. opinions. They will receive a study guide for this chapter on Monday. We will complete it as we read the 3 lessons throughout the week. The Chapter 4 Summative will be the following Tuesday (Feb. 5th)
