5. How to Access - After the Free Trial Period
On January 22 the free access period will end. You
will be able to purchase MasteringPhysics with the ebook and, if you choose, a printed copy of the book
by clicking “Purchase your Required course materials”. This will take you directly To the purchase page for
PHYS 124 at the U of A online store.
If you do not have a credit card with which to make an online purchase you can purchase at the bookstore and use the number on your receipt to access your purchase by clicking “Redeem your Order Number”
Note that the U of A bookstore only accepts Visa Debit cards for in-store purchases.
Note that if you choose not to purchase MasteringPhysics you will still be able to access MasteringPhysics to do your homework assignments the Knowledge Common in the basement of the Cameron Library. The “Mastering Course Home” link and the “Mastering Scores” link will work on the computers there but the other links will not.

6. Purchase MyStatLab – Bookstore choices
The U of A online bookstore will allow you to choose to
purchase either MasteringPhysics with just the ebook of
“Physics 5th edition” OR with a softcover printed version
of the textbook. Note that both choices include the ebook.
Choose the package you prefer then scroll to the bottom
And click “Add to Cart”
Then, at the top, click “3. Check Out”
The bookstore’s online system will prompt you to enter
your address then choose “Pickup” or a shipping
method. You can choose “Free In-Store pickup”
but you do not need to pick anything up unless you ordered a
Printed textbook. Once you make the Purchase all the
MasteringPhysics links will work for you.
