Complete FAFSA: Opens on 10/1 Directions:
Compare your GPA/Test Scores with those of the admitted students of the college you intend to apply.
Determine which colleges you would classify as dream, competitive, reach, and safety.
A safety school is one in which your scores are either on the high end or well above those of the admitted students.
A competitive school is one in which your scores fall within the range of the admitted students.

A dream school is one in which your scores are quite a bit below the admitted students’ scores.

Attention Seniors: Quest Bridge Deadline 9/27/19. Please review the following criteria before applying. The financial qualification is very firm. For additional information and to apply visit
Financial Qualification:
Household income is less than $65,000 a year, and often less for a typical family of four, with minimal assets.
Often eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. 

29. Quest bridge Academic Achievement:
In the top 5% or 10% of their class.
Have received mostly A’s grades in the most rigorous classes available.
Scored >1250 (Critical Reading +Math) on the SAT or >28 (Composite) on the ACT.

30. Quest Bridge Personal Circumstances:
Often in the first generation in their family to attend a four-year U.S. college.
Unusually high level of family responsibility (caring for siblings, part- time work to support family financially, etc.)
Extracurricular achievements, such as leadership or community activities.

BASIC ELIGIBILITY:
US citizen, national or permanent resident.
African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American, Pell-eligible.
A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Top 10% of his/her graduating class.
Demonstrated leadership through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities.
Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.).
