3 Taking Payments in-person
To take a payment in-person, go to People Search and look up the account holder. Click. Wrap up the topic *User Groups have identical rights that are all ON by default *Rights can be edited for each User Group *New User Groups can be created as needed Click on Fees or Activities (depending on what’s being paid for), then GO.

4 Taking an Activity Payment in-person
Click the Activity tab, then Locate the student . The Enrolled Activities will display. Click Signup. Select a Category, Subcategory if needed, to register a student for an Activity. 5 Checkout for both Fees and Activities will take you to your Cart.
Checkout Cart Checkout for both Fees and Activities will take you to your Cart. When possible, in-person transactions should be processed under the parent account instead of the student account. This will allow that parent to view payment history within their profile. Swipe Credit Card –allows you to plug in a USB credit card reader and swipe cards to process payments. ACH Checking/Savings – Enter a checking/savings bank account number and routing number.  This will process the payment through MPP as an echeck. Paper Check – Enter a payor name, check number, and note.  This accounts for the transaction in MPP reporting but you will collect and deposit the check. Cash – Enter a payor name and a note.  This accounts for the transaction in MPP but you will deposit the cash.

6 Taking an Fee Payment in-person
After clicking the Fees tab, you’ll have the option to review Unpaid and Current, Active and Archived Fees. Click Go to display a list of Unpaid Fees. You can also Add a Fee. Here, you can Archive a Fee. Click Checkout to go to your Cart.

7 Activity Refunds and Detaching records from the roster
Locate the Activity enrollee. The Detach action drops the record from the Roster but does NOT issue a Refund. Only users assigned the Refund Administrator role will see the Refund button. Refund allows you to issue a full or partial refund for an Activity. 8 Issuing Refunds Clicking Refund for both Fees and Activities will bring you to this page. Check the selected payment, then Refund. You will receive this acknowledgement.

9 The amount of the payment is shown.
Issuing Refunds If this was a Credit Card or ACH payment, a credit will be applied at the originating institution. The amount of the payment is shown. You can Override if, for example, only partial refunds can be given. Detach Activity or set Fee to unpaid is checked by default. Submit To complete. Send Refund Receipt is checked by default.

11 Issuing Fee Refunds Click the Fees tab. In Current Paid Fees, click GO. Click Refund. Check Select and Click Refund.

12 Issuing Refunds from Transaction Lookup
To issue a Refund for both Fees and Activities from Transaction lookup, click Settings > Search Transactions. Look up the account holder. Click on the Fee orActivity being refunded. Click Refund. Many users think this is the easiest way to make Refunds.

13 Each report can be filtered in numerous ways.
Reporting Click Reports, and review Banking and Reconciliation and Fees and Activities heading. Each report can be filtered in numerous ways. Use the dropdown arrows to choose criteria.
