5,000+ schools offer AVID, less than 1% designated National Demonstration Schoolwide college readiness efforts and culture, demonstrated academic success Increase in verified college attendance (Since 2010) 11% increase in number of students enrolled in post-secondary Exceed state (+5%) averages AOF and Culinary are recognized by PCS as Distinguished Academies

Accolades Academy of Finance is recognized as a NAF Model program for 8 years in a row, only one of four programs in the nation to accomplish this feet 7 Scholastic Art Awards Recipients 4 New Perspective Art Award Recipients 3 Word and Image Are Award Recipients 64 State Qualifiers for Future Business Leaders of America Superiors in Band, Chorus and Theatre programs Girls basketball qualifies for the state playoffs and is the district runner-up (Have played for 5 titles in the last 6 yrs)

Accolades 8 Culinary students have advanced from regional competition to state competition. Our culinary program placed 4th in state team competition last year. 3 of our Automotive students advance to state competition from regional Skills USA competition. Men’s Golf won the District Championship. Men’s Cross Country was the City Championship (first time in school history) and The District Championship. 7th place in state competition in boys 100 freestyle swim. 5 athletic signings School records broken in wrestling with most school pins in history.

Accolades Northeast High School has been selected to be a model school for the Sandy Hook Promise “Say Something” Campaign which promotes inclusion and safety of all students within our school community. At the end of February, we will have a National Event on campus through an assembly that will be covered through national news media. This is due through the great work of our teachers, staff, students, and families to build a positive supporting culture on our campus. Northeast High School and earned the Jim and Marie Shipley Grant ($5000). Grant monies was designated for student achievement incentives and to promote an academic learning environment. Student recognition mural, academic achievement board, student incentive drawings for meeting the three A’s (Attendance, Attitude, Academics), Holiday Challenge, and Testing Incentives.
