1. Course objective
Given 120 hours of combined academic classroom and practical hands-on training in setup, operation, and general maintenance of the AN/TRC-170(V)3 Digital Troposcatter Communications System, successfully complete all practical hands-on exercises, performance checks, and all written tests with at least 70% accuracy.
Action: NET training package will enable the soldier to operate all aspects of the AN/TRC-170(V)3 Digital Troposcatter Communications system.

C. Class Conduct
1. Class hours
Duty hours to 1800 (may vary by command unit)
Eight hours of training time allotted, start time may be varied at discretion of command unit.
b. Breaks - Minimum of 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon and at least hour for lunch
10 minute breaks each hour is permitted.
Thursdays are “Sgt-time” – 15:00 release permitted.
