Necessity of nurturing IT personnel
The shortage of IT human resource is predicted to expand from about thousand at present to about 790 thousand in 2030, and it will be more and more serious in the future.

Accreditation Program for IT-skill Training Courses to Meet the 4th Industrial Revolution
In July 2017, METI launched the scheme to accredit private training courses for IT-skills necessary to meet the 4th industrial revolution. 44 courses have been accredited so far. Trainees can acquire a certification after completing the training course. Entitled fields IT New technologies E.g., AI, IoT, data science and cloud computing Advanced technologies E.g., Advanced security and networking IT Utilization E.g., Model-based development in the field of automobiles Roundtable meeting among the institutions of the first accredited courses and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (March 13,2017)
