What, where, when? Wednesday Evenings Location - Preston College
5-7pm Juniors, 7-9pm Seniors Talks, interactive, visits Physical tests/fitness Drill King George Hall – Attestation 22/10/13 (Tuesday) Photo – The met cadets learning how to march!

Uniform Issued on week 6 Informal – polo shirt, classroom
Formal – long sleeved shirt, events Standards Shorter ties! Focus group of Northern division – decided on hats not berets! Informal – polo shirt, combats, boots, hat - classroom Formal – shirt and tie, combats, boots, hats – community events or inspection Standards Your responsibility to wash, iron and look after your uniform and look smart and presentable in the classroom and at events.

What will the cadets gain from the scheme?
A nationally recognised vocational qualification and certificate Skills development Experience of a variety of activities Encouragement to make your own decisions about important issues in your community A First Aid qualification and certificate The chance to make many new friends

What will they do? Custody Communications Mounted/Dogs/Firearms Fire Station Visit departments within the police and partner agencies Within local area’s Previous projects include: Police engagement with young people Young victims of crime Crime prevention project

What will they do? A Team Building Exercise
Strengthen bonds between friends and create new ones Improve communication Improve leadership abilities A Team Building Exercise Problem Solving Leaflet drops Supporting Police staff with local events Crime Prevention Initiatives Tasking- Assisting within the community
