Instructions: Correct the following sentence in the Bell Ringer section of your binder. Bell Ringer: In 1957 tennis player Althea Gibson won the woman’s championship at Wimbledon later that year she became the 1st African American woman to win the us open. Review SAF PPT on the class website. Then rewrite your AoW response from last week. I will circulate to offer help. Check to make certain that you have made an actual claim. I will select responses to read to the class.

6 Lit Lesson 50 minutes Read The Lady or the Tiger?
We will play tag today. Don’t lose your place because you never know when you might be it. Analyze the story for character/suspense/theme development. Make a chart that includes textual evidence and explanations.

7 Clean-up & Announcements 5 minutes
Clean-up your work area: Dispose of garbage Return pencils & makers Homework: Finish The Lady or the Tiger? as needed. Work on stories as needed.
