3 types of Energy Systems
ATP – CP Anaerobic (with out oxygen) Aerobic (with oxygen)

ATP – CP System Lasts for the first 10 to 20 sec of high intensity exercise. Does not require oxygen 100m sprinting

Anaerobic Energy System
Starts just before ATP system runs out. Lasts up to 2-3 mins. Produces lactic acid 800m running 200m, 400m freestyle

Aerobic Energy system Moderate intensity, long distance exercise.
Requires oxygen Any activity that increases HR and lasts over 4-5mins Rowing, ironman, football & rugby matches
