EDF Energy’s Position The 3 week switching timetable should start after the cooling off period has finished as: Reduces the likelihood of erroneous transfer Improves customer experience Provides an opportunity to ensure required information is present and accurate Limits impact on Shipper and Transporter systems CONFIDENTIAL - Title of presentation © 24 November 2009 EDF Energy plc. Impacts No/limited impact on cooling off periods
Should ensure no detrimental impact to customer experience/satisfaction Suppliers would have 7 calendar days to ensure required information is accurate and available Shippers would have 5 business days to raise and resolve objections – currently up to 9 business days Shippers would be able to withdraw a Supply Point Confirmation up to 5 business days prior to registration Transporters would be required to provide notification within day Aligns gas and electricity objection windows/practices CONFIDENTIAL - Title of presentation © 24 November 2009 EDF Energy plc.
