2. Introduction
Frumpy high-school senior Bianca has a rude awakening when she learns that her classmates secretly know her as the DUFF -- designated ugly fat friend -- to her prettier and more popular pals. Desperate to reinvent herself, Bianca enlists the aid of Wesley, a charming jock. In order to save her senior year from becoming a complete disaster, Bianca must find the confidence to overthrow a judgmental student and revolutionize the school's social order.

4. Song #1: Hold Me by Janine
Bianca is invited to a party with her best friends. At the party Wesley tells Bianca that she is the duff in her friend group. Bianca then lashes out at Wesley and her best friends. She is now all alone and goes home to her mother hoping that they could talk and she would give her motherly advice.
I chose the song Hold Me because it’s about a girl who is all alone and just wants someone to understand. Banca was hoping her mother would understand and comfort her.

5. Song #2: Sorry not Sorry by Demi Lovato
Bianca has been hiding in her home and avoiding her friends. She then apologizes to her best friends for how she reacted to the duff situation and they become best friends again. But in the process she learns that she has to stand up for herself and stop apologizing for being Bianca.
The reason I picked Sorry not Sorry is because Demi is talking about not being sorry for being her unique self and I feel as that’s what's Bianca is trying to do. Also Demi is talking about standing up to people who've hurt her and that’s what Bianca is doing. She is proving to them that there's nothing wrong with being a duff.

6. Song #3: Best Part by Daniel Caesar (feat. H.E.R)
Bianca goes to prom and she is hoping to tell Wesley how she feels. She tells him how she feels and he feels the same way. they finally figure out that they were both meant for each other.
I picked the song Best Part because its talk about a romantic relationship between two people and how they are in love with each other.

7. Conclusion
This is an amazing movie and I would recommend this movie to people who have low self-esteem or having a hard time with relationships.
Also this movies teaches us the importance of having friends to confide in and realizing our true strengths.
The music in this film was also encouraging some songs were I Own it by Angel Haze, Nothing Left to Lose by Kari Kimmel and Kill the band by Junkie Xl
