2 Preamble of the U.S. Constitution
We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed. . !!Basically this is an introductory statement to the Constitution and our founding fathers were outlining their motivations and hopes for its purpose!!

1st Amendment - The right to freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, Petition 2nd Amendment - The Right to Bear Arms 3rd Amendment - Freedom from Quartering of Troops (in Peacetime) 4th Amendment - Freedom from Search and Seizure 5th Amendment - Rights to Grand Jury, Double Jeopardy, Self-Incrimination, Due Process 6th Amendment - Right to Criminal Prosecutions - Jury Trial, Right to Confront and to Counsel 7th Amendment - Right to Trial by Jury in Common Law Suits 8th Amendment - Freedom from Excess Bail or Fines, Cruel and Unusual Punishment 9th Amendment - Non-Enumerated Rights (more rights than what is listed) 10th Amendment - Rights Reserved to States

Going around the room and using the class sets, evaluate each poster and try to guess which amendment the group had. Be productive, if there are many people at one poster, go to another. When you get finished, go back to your seat.
