3 You will read your selection, and as a group you will analyze the rhetoric being used.
First, you will complete the SOAPSTone handout. Next, you will look at the appeals used. Note all rhetorical devices That you see. After becoming an expert on your text. You will move into a group with one member from each of the other groups to teach them about the text. You will learn about their texts, too. Take notes!!!! Finally, you will get back in your original group and compare notes.
