Brief and motivational. Keeps people focused on the target and working towards it. Who is the customer? What is the project supposed to accomplish? Why is the project important? What is the approach?

8 What is the “work breakdown structure (WBS)” and what is a “work package”?
WBS : deliverable-oriented decomposition of a project into smaller components. Work package : a group of related tasks within a project. The smallest unit of work in your WBS.

9 Once we have the WBS, what do we need to do to create the schedule?

Identify the skill sets and roles required to complete the tasks Identify other required resources like equipment Determine the number of each type of resource based on the desired schedule

This meeting introduces the members of the project team and the client and provides the opportunity to discuss the role of team member.
