1. SO THEN GO

2. Once we have settled the issue with the Lord to become a disciple, then what?
Jesus said to GO and make disciples.
HOW?

3. 1. Fill your mind with TRUTH!
2. Fuel your affection for GOD!
3. Share God’s love as a witness!
4. Show God’s LOVE!
5. Spread the glory of God!
6. Train them!

4. Fill your mind with truth:
36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” 37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” 38 Pilate *said to Him, “What is truth?” John 18:36-38

5. WHAT IS TRUTH?

6. Our constitution was framed 229 years ago.
The question then was not, what is truth, rather ,will I adhere to it?
What then has happened to TRUTH?
It has become relative!

8. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth.

9. If Jesus has come to testify to the truth, then does that mean it (truth) is on trial?
The religious leaders of the day absolutely defined TRUTH as that which would benefit them.
Jesus came to set the record straight. He said He was TRUTH!

10. In the beginning the Word already existed
In the beginning the Word already existed.     The Word was with God,     and the Word was God. 2 He existed in the beginning with God. 3 God created everything through him,     and nothing was created except through him John 1:1-3

11. We today, more than any time in history, have access to the written word.
We as disciples are responsible for filling our minds with TRUTH and that comes through His word.
HOW?

12. We need to be intentional.

13. Hear, O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, For I give you sound teaching; Do not abandon my instruction.3 When I was a son to my father, Tender and the only son in the sight of my mother,4 Then he taught me and said to me, "Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live; Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.6 “Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you.7 “The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. “Prize her, and she will exalt you; She will honor you if you embrace her.  “She will place on your head a garland of grace; She will present you with a crown of beauty.”0 Hear, my son, and accept my sayings And the years of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; And if you run, you will not stumble. Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life Proverbs 4:1-13

My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you, 2 Make your ear attentive to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding; 3 For if you cry for discernment, Lift your voice for understanding; 4 If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures; 5 Then you will discern the fear of the Lord And discover the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:1-5
