2 COLOSSEO Called by the ancient Romans, "Anphitheatrum Flavlum" (Flavian Amphitheater), the Colosseum is the most famous monument in Rome, it is the largest in the world. It comes from the Latin "colosseum" which means "colossal"

3 Fori imperiali Julius Caesar, in 54 BC, was the first to build a new square, initially considered as a simple enlargement of the Republican Forum. The Forum of Caesar followed the Forum of Augustus, the Transitional Forum and finally the Forum of Trajan certainly is the most grandiose. An organic complex renamed in the modern era of the "Fori Imperiali". Between 1924 and 1932 the Fori Imperiali were brought to light after the demolition of the buildings built in the area for the construction of the current Via dei Fori Imperiali

4 Castel Sant’ Angelo A few steps from Piazza San Pietro, at the end of Ponte Sant'Angelo, there is the famous Sant'Angelo Castel . It was initially built by the architect Demetriano and finished in one year after the death of Emperor Antoninus Pius. The castle took its name in 590. A chapel was built on top of the fort then, which was named Sancti Angeli.
