5 Articles are Adjectives
Article: The most commonly used adjectives are known as articles. They are: a, an, the The pretty retriever and a fluffy pink poodle played together in the park. An orange is a good source of vitamin C. This is an honor.

6 Identify the Adjective(s)
On winter afternoons, I slowly walk home. winter = adjective modifying “afternoons” slowly = adverb (describes how I walk) At last, I reached my peaceful home. peaceful = adjective modifying “home”

The wet sidewalk glistens in the bright lights. the = adjective/article modifying “sidewalk/ lights” wet = adjective modifying “sidewalk” bright = adjective modifying “lights” sidewalk= subject glisten = verb…it is what the sidewalk is doing
