Chrome Care is a 3-years warranty for parts and labour whichever is applicable.
1-to-1 exchange for confirmed manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Repair services for malfunction or defective parts at no charge.
Replacement of malfunction or defective parts at no charge.
Chromebook that is unable to be repaired will be given a replacement device of the same model or of equivalent specification.
Does not cover
Incidental damages due to negligence or misuse
Theft or vandalism  
Warranty will be void if the device has been tampered
What is Chrome Shield?
Chrome Shield is an add-on protection to Chrome Care, offering comprehensive coverage.
It covers incidental damages resulting from fire, vandalism (by others), lightning, power surges (damaging the device), and accident.
Fire: Incidents of fire not caused by or resulting directly due to owners’ action.
Vandalism: Criminal damage such as graffiti and defacement directed by persons without permission of the owner.
Accident: Incidental and unplanned event or circumstance leading to the damage of device not caused by or resulting directly due to owners’ action, misuse or negligence.
A tiered excess is applicable for repair claims of the device:
excess of S$80 for repair claims up to S$300
excess of S$160 for replacement of device and/or repair claims greater than S$300
The Shield will lapse immediately in the event of either:
two (2) valid repairs, or
one (1) valid replacement claim (whichever takes place earlier.)
The Shield Coverage does not cover the recovery nor preservation of any files or applications on the device. The Company and the Technician bear no responsibilities for the loss of any files or applications on the device.
