Build upon the work of past HCC cabinets while providing a renewed commitment to our classmates’ varied interests in healthcare through collaborative leadership and enhanced initiatives. CAREER CONNECTIVITY Embracing the diversity of first and second years’ career path interests within the healthcare industry COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT Building a bridge between HCC and past, current, and future members of Fuqua (alumni, other professional clubs & prospective students) ACADEMIC INNOVATION Providing experiential learning opportunities for HCC members within broader Duke and/or the Durham community

Position (Count) Overview Second Year Lead(s) Admissions (2) Help shape the incoming class by supporting admissions efforts, including outreach to and interactions with prospective HSM students Hope Taft Alumni Relations (3) Continue strengthening the relationship between Fuqua HSM Alumni and the HCC. Help plan alumni/student touchpoints throughout the year. Positions available with a focus on Pharma, Med Device, and Provider/Payer Mike Bernstein Career (HEAL) (1) Help develop content and plan logistics for the HEAL Roadmap Series throughout the course of Fall 1 & 2 Carlin Gayer

Position (Count) Overview Second Year Lead(s) Conference (6) Be a part of the team to plan and execute HCC’s capstone annual event. Work with the SY cabinet to manage corporate sponsors, marketing/communications, and operations for the event. Binata Ray Linda Rassenti Corporate Sponsorship (1) Help manage all current and potential sponsor relationships with the HCC. Support creation of content and distribution for a newsletter to be sent each term. Bruce Frank Events & External Relations (3) Plan social programming for the club (mixers with FY/SY students, etc.) and experiential learning opportunities (townhalls, day in the life company visits, etc.) Andrew Lee Matt Conley

Yujie Xia International Affairs (2) Serve as one of the go-to people for all FY international students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. Support student roundtable series. Ellie Xie Maria Labandiera Keep the HCC connected by managing our critical technology and communications resources. Craft the weekly newsletter and help keep the club’s page on OrgSync up to date. First Year Leadership Opportunities Student Ambassadors
Student ambassadors represent the brand of the company, focused on career events and opportunities that are aligned with the goals of the Health Care Club. Help with logistics when company representatives are on campus Distribute any swag, marketing materials, or promotional messaging that company representatives provide to appropriate FY and/or SY audience Market company events by word of mouth, as well as on Facebook and OrgSync, to help generate a strong student showing at each event Provide company representatives with an informal “pulse check” of how students are responding to company-related events, opportunities (if requested)
