19. …but actually he is a SUPERHERO – with all the power needed to save the world from villians. He has chosen not to use his powers – when he does use them he can’t control his anger and he causes mayhem!

24. * Violet – she has super defence – invisibility and a forcefield.

37. The Transformation: So here’s the thing…those who have encountered Jesus, who have received the grace of God – his free gift of eternal life – have a new identity – they have been transformed:

38. 1. From dark to light: God called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9)

39. 2. From death to life: When you were dead in your sins God made you alive with Christ. (Colossians 2:13)

40. 3. From slave to son: You are no longer slaves but God's children and God has made you heirs. (Galatians 4:7)

41. 4. From sinner to saint: And we are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

42. 5. From human to superhuman: I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:19)

43. 6. From earthly to heavenly: We are aliens and strangers in the world, citizens of heaven. (Philippians 3:20, 1 Peter 2:11)

44. 7. From natural to supernatural: If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

45. The “I Am Supernatural Because I Am…” Declaration: Introduce the idea of the “I Am Supernatural Because I Am…” Declaration! Today we are going to declare why we are supernatural.

46. The “I Am Supernatural Because I Am…” Declaration Episode 1: The band will start by looking at a passage of Scripture – find a concept to declare and then flesh it out and step forward and declare it with freeflow words (up to 4 lines).

47. The “I Am Supernatural Because I Am…” Declaration Episode 2: Divide the group into two teams – given each group a passage of scripture to read (Ephesians 1 and Ephesians 2) – they have 3 minutes to read the passage, find a concept that describes their new identity and then appoint 5 people tp step up to a microphone and declare it with freeflow (up to 4 lines).
