Wow! Can you believe the end of the 1st nine weeks is near? Students have shown so much growth. We look forward to building on their academic and social skills as we begin an exciting 2nd nine weeks.

Cold Weather-
With the cold weather here, please send your child to school with a warm jacket or sweater each day. Make sure all jackets and outerwear are labeled with your child’s name. The children often do not recognize their belongings and a label saves us a lot of confusion.
Popcorn Fridays: Nov 3 & 17 Kindercats love popcorn! Pricing is .50 a bag.
Snack: We will have a late lunch each day. Please send a healthy snack for your child to enjoy at 10:45.

Science
We will be learning about Magnets
Math
We will continue to practice counting to 100. We will continue to sort objects, learn to make patterns, predicting what comes next, and compare numbers.
Reading
Our phonics lessons include working on letters Mm, Aa, Ss, Tt, Nn, Ii,
and Ff.
We will also learn about rhyme and listening for the beginning sound in a word as well as syllables.
Our sight words for the 2nd nine weeks include: and, do, got, had, has, he, his, in, it, look, on, big, did, for, get, have, as. Please continue to review the 1st quarter words too: I, a, am, at, can, go, is, me, my, see, the, to, up, we, like.
