2. Introduction
This will examine why stereotypes have such a huge impact within the target audiences, and why it can also affect the audience during social activities in real life. Stereotypes can be seen in many different types of animation from the past.
Stereotypes are usually really popular kind of subject to be spoken about within the animation industry.

3. What are stereotypes?
“...a fixed, over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people.” (Cardwell, 1996).
Stereotypes are often defined as a really fixed conventional notion or by a conception based on an individual or a group of people.
There are many different ways that stereotyping in the animation industry can really affect the audience, by how characters have been portrayed in the general role, and personality.
It’s popular is because it can be easily seen and well read when it comes to investigating the elements within the animation.
the audience is mainly aimed at families, it can also play a part on the target audience’s minds, as most Disney princesses are highly classed, beautiful looking and have a perfectly shaped figure.

4. Racial Aspects: Peter Pan
The song in Peter Pan “What makes a red man red” has been the most critical songs from Peter Pan.
Characters tries to act like Indians with the city accent which tries to bring the character in any form and shape of being within the culture.
Tiger Lily who is the little girl in Peter Pan that danced and acts like some sort of gutter Indian with the city accent which is clearly mocking the culture making it as ‘comical’ to the audience (Atkinson, 2014).

5. Racial Aspects: Mulan
Design wise, Mulan had a very Eastern kind of character design, some say that Mulan can be very difficult to watch who are hugely against racism and who are highly sensitive because of her overall design especially with the way Disney have drawn the eyes as very small so then the character looks Chinese so then it brings out to the audience on knowing what it is about
Although, Mulan was the first Disney movie to remark the Asian culture, so many Chinese ways in the film are both realistic and exaggerated towards in the racism marks.

6. Female Portrayal: Cinderella
Cinderella has a very deep kind of connection towards nature/animals which most of the females today have, this is because as Cinderella’s role she clothes, feeds and defends as people described them as ‘creatures’ that she has a very close bonding too.

7. Female Portrayal: Mulan
Mulan changing her own identity to name herself as ‘Ping’. From looking at both designs, Mulan look more masculine than the one in the right hand side. There is a huge difference in comparison in both designs as an audience, we automatically at first it was a male character by the way it’s been drawn out. Not only the way the design, it is more the way she acted and talked as a male so then she can get into war.
> Mulan is sexist as a whole is because the movie showed that females was not allowed to fight in wars.

8. Advantages and Disadvantages of stereotypes
they teach us in a way that educates younger people in general to understand the real life society around them.
Stereotyping can be used for easier surroundings for people to understand.
Disadvantages
Individuals can easily mistake certain stereotypes to the wrong context
Stereotyping can be often an issue when it comes to social events, because there are many groups of people around watching these animations, who will often be judged and have their opinions differ from others, which creates problems in society.

9. Conclusion within the question/essay
With the overall research, stereotypes are still around and still easily shown in the animations itself
General stereotypes can help the audience as a whole to know what is the hidden message into the animations that is being produced
From further researching the essay it was quite interesting to learn about because it engages on how good or bad the story behind it is
Research wise, I feel that I have developed more because there is a lot to talk about and better than last year.
Individuals often use the quote “Don’t judge the book by it’s cover” which is used when appearance isn’t enough to know who the person really is.
