18:37 HOMEPAGE In addition to the IAN Research site, there is also an IAN Community site The IAN Community is basically an online meeting place where everyone concerned with autism can learn more about autism research, from parents to politicians to the media. To encourage participation in autism research, the IAN Community will make parents knowledgeable consumers of research. It will provide parent-friendly, evidence-based information about autism, explain the value of research in general, and give updates on current and future research studies. 10
11
18:37 The IAN Community includes articles about several autism topics that parents may be interested in learning more about. For example, parents may be interested in learning more about challenging behaviors and how common ADHD is in children with autism. They can read evidence-based articles on their topic of interest right on the Community site. 11
