Student Involvement – turning students into Shockers
Students who spend time on campus engaged in outside of class activities are more likely to stay on track when compared to those who do not. Consider joining a student group on campus. No time to join a student group?
If you are already involved in another type of organization, consider taking on a leadership role. Being in a leadership role is marketable to potential employers and makes your application stand out among others for graduate programs, scholarships, etc. Use your time wisely on campus between classes. All campus connections contribute to your success. Form a study group and study in the library or a student lounge Workout at the Heskett Center Hangout in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (RSC), Adult Learning (GW Annex), or the Military and Veteran Student Center (GW) Bring your lunch/dinner into the RSC and eat in one of the lounges Spring 2019
