2. Instructions Get into groups of 3 or 4 (no less).
Give your essay to the person on your right.
What to check:
Make sure they annotated the prompt and passage.
Check their outline to see if they completed it correctly.
Count 5 paragraphs (intro, bing, bang, bongo, conclusion).
As you read their essay, check for SWAG.
Make sure every paragraph starts with their BFF (indented).
Count AT LEAST 5 sentences per paragraph.
Try to find their main idea, bing, bang, and bongo, and mark them.
Mark anything that you see that is incorrect (spelling, grammar, etc.)
If time allows, pass it to the right again and have a second person check it.
Give it back to the original owner and discuss any mistakes that were made with the group.
