Let’s have a “flash forward”. Imagine yourself this time next Saturday. It’s afternoon, so .....what do you think I’ll be doing? This time (at 17:00) next Saturday, I’ll be having a siesta That’s something in progress at some time in the future. It’ll have started before 17:00 and it’ll continue after 17:00

FUTURE PERFECT CONTINUOUS
Form: Subj +WILL+BE+V –ING Meaning: action in progress in a point in the future. Emphasis on the PROCESS By 9:00 tomorrow I’ll be passing the test.

What will John’s future be like?
By the time John is 20, he will have planted, fertilized and harvested a crop of cannabis. Two years later the FBI will have arrested him, put him on trial and sent him to jail. So, when he’s 22, he will have been sent to jail

FUTURE PERFECT Form: Subj+ WILL+HAVE+ V PAST PARTICIPLE
Meaning: completed action before a point in the future. Emphasis on the RESULT By 9:00 tomorrow I’ll have passed my test.

FUTURE TIME CLAUSES Complete this sentence:
We’ll go out when he comes After when, before, after, until, as soon as we use present time, even though we refer to future time (we use present Subjunctive in Spanish) I’ll be here until she arrives (‘hasta que ella llegue) As soon as my dad comes, we’ll start eating (‘tan pronto como mi papá venga’)
