New flower container 588 and predecessor 577
New Fc588 flower container ensures better loading This new multi-use flower container is the successor to the current large flower bucket (Fc577). The Fc588 has an optimal fit on both the CC container (6 per layer) and stacking trolley (10 per layer). Load factor improvement The smarter dimensions significantly improve the load factor compared to the Fc577: 50% on a CC-container. 11% on a stacking trolley and cage cart. With the introduction of the Fc588, we will achieve a significant reduction in chain costs and CO2 emissions. In doing so, we're contributing to our sustainable ambitions. Reusable Flowers Plants Left: reusable tray with about 70 turnarounds Right: normpack single use 100% recyclable Single use
7
Life Cycle Analysis between single use vs reusable tray
The multiple use tray has a lower and better environmental impact. But the single use tray is the current standard in de market. Therefore it is key to improve and optimalise the performance of the single use tray Key to improve the functionality of the mulitple use trays Time to stimulate the market demand for multiple use trays
