3. What is a Current Event? Choose an article from a reputable source.
NBC, CBS, Fox News, Newspaper, National Magazine, etc
Must be current about our world today.
National Debt, Election, NFL, Jobs, Politics, Drug problems, Problems in education, etc……

4. Expectations
Needs to be one complete Cornell Note in correct format with heading
Must include the author, date the article was written and where the article is from (source)
Must include 3 Vocabulary Words with definitions and examples

5. Prepare to Present
These will be due every week by Friday morning. (If we don’t have school that Friday you are in the clear(no homework!)
2 random students will be selected to read their summary and vocab to the students. They will also be required to answer any questions the students or teacher may have.
