3 What table ??? The one that has 5 chairs ---

4 … the most important one in our professional careers.

5 Chair #1 … belongs to federal and state legislators.

6 Chair #2 … belongs to the regulators.

7 Chair #3 … belongs to the companies.

8 Chair #4 ..belongs to consumers and media groups.

9 Chair #5 ..belongs to your association (NAIFA).

10 Chair #5 Our chair used to be big!

11 Chair #5 But it’s gotten much smaller!

12 What if our chair vanished?

13 Legislators --Regulators--Companies--Consumers Agents would have no voice! The other guys make the rules!

14 Agents would get steamrolled in Washington and Tallahassee !!!

OK -- First things first: 1) President and the rest of your Board must decide they’re going to hit their Membership goal – and establish accountability (for themselves). 2) Create a Membership committee 3) Develop a Membership plan (see template) 4)Recruit new members and renew the current ones. 5) Hit your goal by June 30, 2014!
