2. The project supported by DIKU www.siu.no
The Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (DIKU, previous name SIU) is a Norwegian public sector agency that promotes international cooperation at all levels of education.
DIKU is located in Bergen, the 2nd largest city of Norway.

3. The project goal:
Sampling good cases of teaching Norwegian students about Chinese business cultures through internship practices.
Sampling BJTU supportive courses and project coaching in addition to the internship.
Expected results:
Establishing good and reliable network with a hosting company or organization for internship Norwegian student placement.
Collecting experiences, good samples and beneficial cases for internship candidates and for the hosting company.
Motivating and promoting more Norwegian engineering students aiming toward China and learning Chinese business cultures as one of essential engineering skills.

4. Expected results relevant to project operation
2 OUC students conducting internship placement in 2019
3 OUC students conducting internship placement in 2020
Placement scheduled July or August in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
All OUC students need to complete BJTU supportive courses
In the following fall semester for equal to ECTS.
Can we have openings for none engineering courses in case we need to send OUC students from other none engineering faculties?

5. Total budget for the project NOK 300 000,-
The project period lasts 31 December 2020 (2 years)
Only supported direct costs, no wage no equipment
Involved institutions own contributions in working hours
Requirements for report and disseminations
Need to involve in student mobility
Need to balance gender equally
