Fall is officially here!!
Things we will learn this Month:
Alphabet Knowledge: E, F, G, H, I , J (letters and letter sounds)
Oral Language: Speak in complete sentences, Follow oral directions, Share a personal experience
Comprehension: Make predictions, Retell story, Identifying characters, Identifying the setting, Story sequence
Writing: Name writing, Journal writing (drawing a picture and describing picture to teacher)
Math: Match numerals to quantity, Create patterns, Put numbers in numerical order, Counting (1-50), Numeral recognition (0-10)
Science: Investigate motion, investigate environment, Investigate energy
Social Studies: Transportation and people, Community helpers (Fire Fighter, Mail Carrier, Veterinarian, Dentist)
Parents, review the following with your child daily: Child’s name, address, phone number and birthday.
Reminder:
Don’t forget to check and sign your child’s binder daily. This is our line of communication. (Keep in mind we do not check your child’s backpack, so any notes to teacher or important information should be placed in your child’s binder)
Please make sure your child has a set of changing clothes in case of any accidents.
Due to the change of weather remember to send your child to school with a light jacket for outside play.
Parents when we send blankets home on Friday please wash it and send it back on Monday.
Fall Celebration
October 1:30- We are planning to have a fall celebration/pizza party. Students will be able to dress in their favorite costume. (Please, No scary costumes)
*If you would like to donate anything for the celebration, it must be store bought.
*If you would like to donate individual wrapped candy you may do so on Thursday or Friday, October 27th-28th.
