Your presentation Must Include a slide or more for each:
Introduction of the geographic location of the earthquake. Where in the world is this place? What is the geography of the region? Flat? Mountains? Rural? Urban? Rich? Poor? Island/coastal or inland? Include a map Explanation of the Disaster: Explain what happened. Quote 2 primary sources that support your explanation. Magnitude? What were newspapers or eye-witnesses reporting? Pictures Effects of the earthquake. Human casualties? Damage to manmade structures? Fires? Landslides? Liquifaction? Tsunamis? Spread of diseases? Amount of monetary damage? Explanation of Plate Tectonics Involved What caused it? What type of plate boundary? How far away? Explanation of what is happening at the boundary? Depth of that earthquake. Map of earthquake distributions around your location using IRIS Earthquake Browser Lessons Learned/Realizations
