Supplementary Figure S6. A single mutation of serine 83 on p85 is sufficient to disrupt ζ mediated PI3k-Akt pathway activation in ζ overexpressing cells
MCF ζ transfectants (MCF7ζ) were stably transfected with histidine/Xpress-tagged (His/Xpress) wild type p85 (p85WT), tagged p85 mutated in the binding site encompassing S83 (p85S83μ), or tagged p85 mutated only on serine 83 (p85S83A). Exogenous p85 expression levels were determined by immunoblot with Xpress antibody. Akt activation was determined by phospho-AktSer473 (P-Akt) antibody.
